traviswilliam7513
I have an RT-12d subwoofer that keeps blowing fuses. When the fuse that it came with (a T6.3AL250V fuse) blew, I replaced that fuse with another T6.3AL250V. The instant I turned it back on, that fuse blew. So I replaced that one. Same thing. And again. Any suggestions?
FireWave
Well the fuse T6.3AL250V appears to be a 6.3 Amp 250 V fuse. If its a "fast blow fuse" meaning it blows the instant 6.4 amps are sent to it, then you might want to try slow blow fuses. "slow blow fuses" can handle short power spikes but if its continuous, it will blow. I would feel uneasy using slow blow because I could damage or fry my sub. Fuses are meant to protect whatever its powering from surges or spikes, if it keeps blowing itself, you might want to take the sub in to a repair shop or klipsch. Be sure the outlets your plugging into are wired properly too.
