timyoung Posted August 8, 2010 Share Posted August 8, 2010 Well I moved the Khorns into the living room today. Very pleased with my decision to keep them. Attached are a couple pictures of before and after... most of the issues were cosmetic. One of the tops had a candle burn. Replaced that top with one that Noah provided. Notice the discoloration on the top cap. Unfortunately, the owner had not oiled them since the day he bought them new. Both speakers looked faded all over. I replaced the top cap cloth provided by Greg. I think I spent about 8 hours oiling them. I replaced the Tweeters with Bob's CT125's. I'll listen to them for about 6 months before I make any decisions on crossovers or horns. For now, they sound and look pretty nice! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
