  1. Eventually I plan to build false walls so I can use them as front. Just hasn't happened yet.
  2. Looking for a nice ampifier to go with the Integra DTC 9.8 upgrade I am buying from my neighbor. I'm running Heresy's as Center channel and fronts with Klipschorns as rears. I'd like to keep the price under $500 for a used unit. Thanks and looking forward to the responses. Tim
  3. Sounds like for now the 650's are the right choice. As we work thriough the year, we can add the rock speakers if needed. Thanks, Tim
  4. Man that honey-do list will keep you busy. Thanks for the input. Tim
  5. We have a very large patio 15'x50' and are thinking about adding outdoor speakers. I'm looking for a Klipsch model people on the forum would reccomend? Considering the size of the area, how many speakers will I need? Thanks, Tim
  6. I currently have a vintage Luxman receiver with Industrial La Scala's set up on my patio. I believe the Luxman receiver is in it's final days. I'd like to keep it simple by replacing it with another receiver. Any recomnedation?
  7. That is exactly what I have been doing. I have them maybe 10' apart slightly angled in. Then I have my chair about 20' away centered to the speakers. The weather in Central CA has been nice and sitting outside, listening to the music has been awesome! It's like listening to a concert. My kids have been telling me their friends down at the end of the block can hear them... Never thought I'd have my kids telling me to turn down the volume! []
  8. Thanks Gary. It would be nice to know the exact age, but not a must. They are awesome speakers.
  9. Thank you Roger for your comments as well. I may not know the exact age, but at least it is narrowed down a bit. Tim
  10. I was hoping the 1st two digets of the mid range k55 driver being 77 meant they were built in 1977. Oh well. At least they are approx. 30 years old. It is amazing speakers can sound so awesome after that many years. Thanks for the input. Tim
