nbiradar
Hi , I am looking for some help on setting up my new Klipsch VF-35 Home Thearter package ( note Subwoffer is SW-450 and not SW-350) and reciever is Onkyo TX-Sr608. I need some help with setting the cutover frequency for the speakers - front and surround speakers Thanks, nbiradar
Ironsave
Welcome to the forum. This setting will depend on your ears and your personal preference. Your speakers' owners manual should have a reccommended setting. That is where I would begin.... But you will need to experiment with different settings..... Example: maybe 60hz for a few days; than 80; etc.... (Klipsch specs for your speakers can be found on the website; which should also give you an idea). Do not use the X-over in your receiver AND sub; use the receiver only; (Or you could use the subs only, but most prefer using the receiver setting). If you use both, inconsistant performance can result with certain frequencies...... Good Luck.
