RonnieS
After living with my Sony Bravia's internal speaker for a couple of years now I decided to step up to nice computer speakers for sound. This even after many big box electronics specialists suggested that I don't do this and spend hundreds of dollars for a "Home Theater" set up. Well I went and did it and bought a sweet 3 piece Pro-media 2.1 set. Ok, so after spending a few minutes reviewing my TV's manual and viewing You tube clips on how to set up comp speakers to a HD TV, I plugged my jack into my head phone port and the sound is great! So you would think that I would stop there, right? I was wondering if there is an even better method? Someone at The "Shack" said that the head phone jack has limited power to prevent someone with head phones in blowing out there ears. True? I then tried to plug into the Fixed Audio out ports with RCA red and whites but could not control the volume with my remote. The sound was a bit better I thought. Anybody here have the best solution? Or have hooked up another way? Thanks.
RonnieS
Huh.. guess nobody ever connected computer speakers to their flat screen here. Thanks anyway.
Mister_Clean
I had mine hooked up through the RCA outputs myself but I upgraded to a surround receiver. my TV does not have a headphone jack on it so I don't know the answer. you should give it more than 2 days to get a response from people here.
