marems Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 Hello all! Ok, so Im pondering on purchasing some forte 2's in the future to run in my 2 ch. Room. Im currently running. CF-4's version. 1 w/ my mac stack which I love, but after reading all the great things said about the forte 2 makes me very curious. The person I bought my CF-4's from said he had the forte 2's, but had way too much bass! So he brought them back to the store and got the epics. That's crazy because these things Have great bass!I couldn't imagine more bass than these! But that would be totally fine w/ me though... can anybody shed some light on this w/ comparisons? pauln Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 I've never owned them, but I've read here and there where some folks have put them all the way back into the room corners because of space issues. The back firing passive/active speaker (don't recall which is which) when facing close into the corner is reported to make the bass very loud... maybe that's what they meant?
