The 250 watt version uses 10 6l6 tubes and the 500 watt version uses 10 kt-90 tubes. in looking at the amps, and the schematics, they are identical. same power tranny, same output tranny, same circut board, same componet values. except Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest " " Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 so basically, add about 4K in resistors, replace the 10 6l6's with 10 kt-90's, and you go from 250 to 500 watts. all other parts are exactly the same. the model 250 is listed at 7k a pair, and the 500 at 9k a pair.
