my 250 watt amp can be a 500 watt amp for less than 2 bucks plus tubes

finally got a hold of the schematics for the Manley studio 250 watt amp and the 500 watt amp. The 250 watt version uses 10 6l6 tubes and the 500 watt version uses 10 kt-90 tubes. in looking at the amps, and the schematics, they are identical. same power tranny, same output tranny, same circut board, same componet values. except

so basically, add about 4K in resistors, replace the 10 6l6's with 10 kt-90's, and you go from 250 to 500 watts. all other parts are exactly the same.

the model 250 is listed at 7k a pair, and the 500 at 9k a pair.
