wuzzzer
As far as crossover settings are concerned, the guideline is 80Hz for all speakers including your subwoofer. Set the crossover settings on the subwoofer itself as high as it goes (usually 120-150Hz). If the sub has phase controls, play some bass heavy music and sit where you normally would sit in your room and have someone switch between 0 and 180 on the phase setting. Use whichever one has more bass output. If they both sound the same set the phase on the sub to 0. Set the sub's output level to the 10 - 11 o'clock position and use the sub output setting on your receiver to blend it with your other speakers. Run any automatic setup that your receiver has to adjust the speaker's distances from your listening position and balance their outputs with each other.
