Rapidrob
I'm unable to find a post on how to fix a dead v.2-400 sub-woofer amp problem. The speaker computer plugs were pulled out of the computer when the power was on and the two plugs shorted together. The speakers are now dead. White noise out of the right front and left rear. No sound out of the other two. No sub woofer. The first card in the card rack past the DC power supply has a heat sink that gets very hot on power up. The others are normal tempature. The wiring is OK by an ohm meter. Is there a troubleshooting site? A person can repair this amp? I would like to keep the system if possiable. I know this system has a lot of problems as per the internet. Thank you for your help.

Klipsch Employees Trey Cannon Posted May 25, 2011 Klipsch Employees Share Posted May 25, 2011 Well as that system is now 11 years old...and it died due to error...I would think it to be a heck of a good unit. We had less than 1 % return with dead product. Any other returns were due to something else.
