They also had the 505 for $99. Which is a better deal for a 19 year old short on money. How are Kenwood's? Are they better than Panasonic? Also i'm purchasing the JBL Northridge 5 speaker pack. Audio Flynn Posted April 25, 2002 Share Posted April 25, 2002 Save your money and get an Outlaw for $ 499 Had a kenwood VR 307 and wondered why I did not like the sound for 2 years of other upgrades. Audio Flynn's rule of thumb for HT receivers...to get some kind of high current capabilities, the unit needs to weigh 25 pounds... 30 pounds preffered.
