nathang
troubleshooting my wife's 4.1, I find a smoking crater where a small cap used to be, the subassy says "HC Bash 610036 rev 5" and is the location of a large air core copper wire coil. Three components in a row on a sink are D6 Q6 and Q3. Below D6 is where C13 used to be before the magic smoke escaped. Can if find out what value cap should go back there, if I just try a small cap, was it electrolytic? Does damage there suggest another component failure? Thanks for any help. nathang
