JasonJCarney Posted July 11, 2011 Share Posted July 11, 2011 That Is a big upgrade for a couple reasons: The htrc-180 was basically a copy of the tx nr807. So your going up 2 classes according to onkyo's product line. You'll get RCA preouts and network connectability. Go to onkyo's website and you can do a head to head comparison of all their current and older models so you'll know exactly what the differences are and if they mean anything to you. The180 was msrp of $1100 vs $600 for the 607. They came out about the same time do the price difference should tell you a little something.
