KSW 15 Is now a giant paperweight

Hi-

I have a Ksw 15, bought many years ago circa 1999 , and today for the first time when I went to turn my receiver on it did not turn on.

I have had it in the Auto position ever since I have owned it.

No red light on the front, no green light.

I unplugged the power cord for the power strip ( which is also powering TV receiver etc with no problems) and plugged it in again and toggled the power options, no dice.

Besides calling 1800 Klipsch, anything else I can do?

I am think maybe the fuse, or worse the amplifier has given out.

Is it worth replacing? Where can I take it to be serviced? I am in Western MA area.

Definitely rocked the house for the many year it worked. I think I spent 700-800 dollars. It would be a shame it I had to retire it.

Thx,

Jon Raynor

Thanks for the advice.

I pulled the fuse, need a flat head screwdriver to pull it out. It looked OK, but I went to the Shack and picked up a 3 AMP 250 slow break fuse and replaced. No change :(

I will try 1800Klipse on Monday and see what they have to say.
