jaklipsch
Can anyone tell me how to determine the age of a set of Klipschorns from the serial #'s ? And what differences/improvements have been made since that year ?? What about woods/finishes available back then ?? I am looking for a set of speakers to place in a room 40' x 40' , hard wood floors, Tongue & groove wood walls , a great deal of glass, and a peak ceiling height of approx. 33 feet . Speakers will be placed in the corners,,,,,,Are Horns the best choice for a " Room full of sound " ??
ShapeShifter
Welcome to the Forum. If you post the Serial Numbers, you will get a lot of info up front. Would be nice to know the type of finish as well. ------------------ "KLIPSCH IS MUSIC"f> This message has been edited by ShapeShifter on 04-30-2002 at 05:21 AM
dougdrake
Here's the decoder ring for serial numbers. Yes, K-Horns would be the choice for a roomful of sound. Your room sounds pretty hot, so it may need some dampening (rugs, drapes, etc...). Doug ------------------ My System
