Chris.Berryman
Good afternoon, I am in the process of putting together a Heritage 7.1 system; thanks to the many posts I've read on the board, I searched for used Klipsch and was able to pick up a 1985 set of K-Horns for the front, a Heritage 3 for the center, and Heritage 3's on their side for the rear surround. What is the best match or performer for a side surround? I will be using them in THX ASA mode. I am considering the following so far: KS-525-THX RS-61 II KSP-S6 From what I've read the RS-61 II's have the lowest crossover point so more sound would come out of the horns, more closely matching the heritage speakers; is this a good assumption? Any info is helpful, thanks in advance! Chris
Ironsave
Welcome to The Forum! I suggest Heresy Is for surrounds. Can be found for around ~$400 used in nice shape and they would match the Khorns and Corn very well....... Heritage speakers are 3 way and Reference being 2 way (for the most part) sound very different. (There are exceptions; not sure about your particular models listed.) Good Luck. cornfedksboy
Welcome to the forum! That will be a great system! I can't remember who, but someone here has a similar heritage theater with 3 La Scallas up front. If you can flush him out, he will be very helpful. I too thought another 2 hereseys would be best fit.
