BBrandonBarker
I've had an old pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers for many years now and they still sound great. Two questions: 1. How long will they keep going? and 2. If they start to age, which speakers should I go for next? I like the older, vintage sound. Thanks for any suggestions. willland
BBrandonBarker, Welcome to the forum. Two questions: 1. How long will they keep going? As long as you want to listen to them. 2. If they start to age, which speakers should I go for next? None. Just update them with new crossovers, drivers or whatever needs to be replaced. If cabinets are beat up, sand and refinish to your liking. I am not discouraging you from upgrading to other Klipsch Heritage speakers, but just pointing out that these speakers can be revived to original splendor or even improved upon. Guest David H
Welcome to the forums. The Heresy as with all of the Heritage line is a speaker built to last. There are several minor tweaks that can be done to you H1's to restore performance. If you feel the need to upgrade, why not look at the Heresy III, it has updated crossovers and drivers, and Tractrix tweeter. The HIII is nice upgrade.
