Klipsch Image S4 - Left earplug not working due to loose contact

Hi,

I'd purchased a pair of Klipsch image s4 while in Sweden, back in July 2010. At present I live in India. My left earbud has stopped working now. It was working intermittently while the wire moved a little and then suddenly died. Seems like a loose wire issue.

I contacted a local dealer for warranty (I'm not sure if I'm covered, since it's 1.5 years from date of purchase now). They said they need an official email from Klipsch if they are to process the warranty, since I bought the pair from another country. I contacted Klipsch quite a few days back, but haven't recieved any sort of response.

I request some sort of response. If I can't be covered under warranty, I'd appreciate any help (instructions) with getting the earphone open, so I can attempt a repair myself.

I contacted the following dealer in India regarding my warranty for Klipsch Image S4 (See below mails for context).

They demanded an email from Klipsch
in order to process the warranty, since I made the purchase from a
different country/dealer. I have attached the original bill that I
recieved when I purchased these earphones. Kindly send an email
directive to KSG technologies to process my warranty.
