reynolr
I have been debating on upgrading my center channel for a while now. Just saw an RC-3 in the garage sale section. Just wondering on what you all thought about pairing an RC-3 with my rf-52's? I have read good things about the rc-3, I'm sure it will be a good step up. Would the rc-62 be they way to go, or would the rc-3 fix my upgrade bug? Thanks for your help.
SuBXeRo
the rc-62 is the perfect match. I love the sound of the rc-3 but im not sure how it would mix. You could upgrade to it if its like 100 bux and then resell it when you find an rc-62 for pretty much what you bought it for.
reynolr
$100? He has $175 plus shipping, is that high for an rc-3 then?
reynolr
Was just comparing the rc-3 and rc-62, on testfreaks dot com it rates rc-3 a 7.9 and the rc-62 is at a 9.4 Anyone have some experience with the two? Is the rc-62 a much better center channel?
SuBXeRo
an rc-3 or rc-3 II at 175 is veru high considering they are 10 years old. You are comparing two different lines of reference here, keep that in mind. The rc-3 isnt mater propery to your newer speakers. The rc-62 is also a vented/ported enclosure whereas the rc-3 isnt. Just buy the rc-62 because its matchesd to your system and be done with it.
