NelsonC
I recently purchased a set of Klipsch home theater system as follows: Front: RB51 II (50Hz - 24kHz) Centre: RC52 II (67Hz - 24kHz) Surround: RS41 II (82Hz - 24kHz) Presence: RB41 II (85Hz - 24kHz) Subwoofer: SW-110 (28 - 120Hz) I am using a Denon AVR-3805 receiver, please suggest the best crossover frequency which I should set in the receiver. BTW, please suggest the ways to test the performance (output and bass) of the subwoofer. Thanks a lot. Nelson.

To answer one of your questions I believe your receiver has an auto setup function so start there and tweak if necessary. THX recommends a crossover setting of 80hz but with your speakers I believe 100hz might better suit them. All of this depends on room size and acoustics. But like I said your auto setup ought to be a pretty good start. Hope that helps. Cheers
NelsonC
Thanks for the advice. As the auto setup doesn't determine automatically the crossover frequency (should be set manually), I will try 100 hz first and see the results.
