kapsnb01
I've been lurking around here quite a bit and appreciate all of the good information that I've been able to find. I've got a pair of RF-62s with a JBL PB10 sub right now and would like to pair them with an RC-62 so that the front stage is timbre matched. What is a "good deal" on the RC-62? Right now what I'm seeing out there ranges from $320-500. I'm assuming $320 is probably fair...but, do you think if I wait for a while I'll find a significantly better deal? Thanks, I appreciate your advice! Brian
cornfedksboy
I bought one used about 6 months ago for $325, which was more than I wanted to spend, but it was what I wanted, original box, flawless, etc. Shoot for $250. For a used one and up to $350. $320. new is a great price.
kapsnb01
Thanks for the reply. The $320 is used from a guy that had it and now upgraded to the RC-64, so, sounds like I can get a better deal if I'm patient. Was the $325 that you paid for a new one or was that used also? cornfedksboy
It was barely used by another forum member. Less than 10 hours IIR. I had seen several in the $250-325 range when I didn't have any money. Then I had money and had set my budget at up to $300.00. I waited 2-3 months and found nothing in that range when this one came up for $350.00. We settled on $325.00 and I was very happy with what I got. Within the next month, two came up for between $275 and 300.00. Patience is a virtue, but I don't regret spending the extra $25.00. I got what I wanted and I got it earlier than had I waited. If the one for $320 is in good condition you might try negotiating.
