THX11 Posted February 18, 2012 Share Posted February 18, 2012 So not happy right now I recently purchased an F30 pack which inlcuded this sub, all brand new. It's hooked up to my denon avr2312 and has been going great for the week I've had them. Tonight I turned it on and it cracked and popped loud enough to scare the occupants and the fuse had literally blown itself to pieces. I'm pretty comfortable with electronics so I pulled the amp out and there is black charring on one of the mosfets Any ideas from anyone? I'll be calling the shop tomorrow to seek a replacement. I do not no much about this generation of Synergy subs, but the last generation had amplifier issues quite often, well documented on this forum and other forums. From what I have seen, I would stay away from the "lower"model subs. Maybe get a credit towards a Reference series and a discount for your trouble.
