Primarily, I want to measure the room response and also get the right EV dx38 settings for the Faital HF20At drivers I put on the K402s. Presently, I have: Laptop loaded with Windows XP Pro and REW, Behringer ECM8000, microphone stand, various cables What is missing is what goes between the laptop and microphone. Is the TASCM US 122 Mk II the best approach for this? Reading reviews about this model sounds like alot of unhappy customers out there. But they may be using it for more than I would require or for a different purpose altogether. Are there other external interfaces with phantom power that work better. I was heading down this path a couple of years ago, but got sidetracked. Now, I have need, so my interest has again risen.
