colterphoto1
480's in rat fur should be 4000's, no?
colterphoto1
I've think I've seen these rebuilt where they deleted the passive, put a new motor board in and just ran an 18" as bass reflex.
kg4guy
480's in rat fur should be 4000's, no?Yes correct I couldn't find any spec info on the KP 4000 only the KP 480 .
colterphoto1
this is all I have, remember 4-digit pro was manufactured by WWR, you'll note that it's OSB board inside, hence the carpet covering. That stuff doesn't paint up very nice. KP-4000-C.pdf
kg4guy
Sounds interesting in fact when I originally got these one of the passives was shot so I had it reconed the other one looked as if it had been done recently as well. Can't believe someone hasn't jumped on these it's a great deal the JBL drivers along are worth more.[*-)]
joeydingo
Hello Ara, sorry I spaced out and didn't recognize you as the purveyor of my fine KP250s. Loving those. I am actually having a pair of Bill Fitzmaurice Titan 48s built by a local friend with better carpentry skills and more spare time than I have. Will post a few pics once they're done. kg4guy
I was considering those I located a nice pair of them for $475 without drivers?
biglaz
Is $150.00 for a pair of speakers and cabinets? Would you be interested in selling just the drivers and shipping to 40160?
kg4guy
The $150 is of the cabinets with one K-49 woofer reconed at 8 ohm , it came that way, $350 is with the cabinets loaded with the JBL 2042H woofers or $200 for the pair of JBL woofers.
