mustang guy
After some research, I have decided the air bags are a bit expensive. However... used filing cabinets are not! Perfect drawer guides, as they are built for high capacity. That I only need to lift and lower about 10 inches, the drawer guides would work easily. Bracing these together, and mounting them to the wall with a plate which utilizes the VESA bolt holes in the rear of the TV would be perfect. Something as simple as a lever and a bolt in the wall could be used to raise and lower the TV from the left side. I am gonna work on a drawing and post it in a few minutes... McMiRA
I am looking at the drawing and all I can think of is davinci machines. Would look kinda pimp if you did it out of some rough cut lumber and used some iron fasteners. Or even wrap the joints in some treated twine to allude that it was only held togeather with rope and operated off a counter weight. Some people like their devices to just work, I like to have some fun with mine.

I have tons of heavy unused crap laying around I can make that out of. []
