Mounting them on the ceiling pointing down would give you a fairly narrow vertical dispersion pattern. How about attaching two pieces of wood at a 90 degree angle, painting it your ceiling color, attach it to the ceiling and mounting a satellite on that and angling the satellite around 90 degrees pointing down? Whic wasy 90 and 40 degrees? 90 degrees left and right, and 40 degrees up and down.... i.e. a 45 degree angle left and right of center and 20 degrees above and below center?
