paperboy117 Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 my K-77-M tweeters had 7.25 and 7.95 ohms ... and my K-55-V midranges had 11.5 and 12.5 ohms ... or did before i had new Diaphragms put in them recently, i forgot to test new ones..lol .... i had all of them redone, they just didn't sound correct, played out of range kinda, and harsh, I did new caps, wrapped mid horns with rope caulk, then new Diaphragms.... everything i did helped a lot, now they sound like they suppose too, truely amazing ..... 81 model cornwalls ... bruce Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

paperboy117 Posted June 12, 2013 Share Posted June 12, 2013 I pulled the backs off my cornwalls tonight... measured the newer diaphragms, the k-77-m tweeters are 6.2 and 6.7 Ohms, and the k-55-v mids are both at 10.2 ohms... I've gotten 4 midrange diaphragms this year from bob and they all measure right at 10.2 .... as i replace all my vintage diaphragms, and caps .. i like to know i'm hearing what i suppose to hear...lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
