RW-12 Replacement Driver

Hey all,

I picked up a RW-12 cheap on CL. It was obvious that the driver was messed up and I love to tinker with things so I thought I would just open it up and replace the driver. I noticed out on eBay there is a replacement driver available for a RW-12d. The part # is 1006664. Anyone know if the RW-12 and the RW-12d used the same driver and if this driver would be suitable to replace the driver in the RW-12?

I guess another option would be to get a replacement driver from some place like parts express. Anyone have the specs for the RW-12 driver?

LOL, not sure why I did not think of that first. They totally pointed me in the right direction. They do still sell the drivers for the RW-12 and RW-12d.

I was also informed that they both use the same driver as well.

Just make sure you disconnect and reconnect the wires to the proper polarity.

LOL, yeah that's a good point.

Interesting note is that I had also emailed customer support
before I called them with the same question and I got a different answer.
Apparently they did use different drivers in the two subs. I responded hoping
they can give me the specs of the two drivers.

We will see where that gets me.
