dwhendri
I have a pair of 1982 vintage Heresy l's. One of the speakers has a stock K-22-E woofer (square magnet), but the other has a K-24-K (round magnet), which I understand to be a Heresy ll woofer. Question: Is the K-24-K an acceptable substitute, i.e. can I run the pair with different woofers? Or should I start looking around for another K-22-E and replace the K-24-K? I should add that the speakers appear to sound fine, but since this is my first pair of Heresys, i'm not sure if they sound 'right' or not. Please chime in! Thanks, Dave
djk
They will image better with a matched pair of drivers. I would buy one matching driver, and sell the odd man out (or keep for a spare).
Wingfield
Same reply from me here as on karma. I'd match either to make a pair. eBay has several to choose from.
