fastlane
Love my new tv. Hate the tiny speakers on the back, so I took my unused Promedia 2.1 and connected them to my tv via the analog rca outputs with an rca to 3.5mm adapter. Great sound, but when I turn off the the tv, there is a faint, tolerable pop. When I turn the tv back on there is a LOUD, intolerable pop. What might cause this? I pulled the Bose 321 from my bedroom and connected it and get the same pop, so I know its in the tv and not the Promedia 2.1's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. CECAA850
If the speakers are amplified, the amplifier needs to be turned on last (after the TV) and off first (before the TV). Any amp will pop if powered on before the source is.
