eth2
If I run FLAC files from my computer to a DAC and then to my HDTV receiver, will the receiver limit the effectiveness of the DAC signal? I have a Pioneer 1323k and am considering buying a DAC, but I read a review that warns that the Pioneer will somehow degrade the signal from the DAC. willland
Are you currently using the Pioneer's onboard DAC's? How does it sound? If your Pioneer has a quality analog section it probably won't noticeably degrade the signal from a quality DAC. Now if you purchase a $1000.00+ DAC, it might be of better quality than the Pioneer's DAC's. You really won't be able to know until you try. willland
I must have misunderstood you. You want to send the FLAC file to a DAC and then on to your HDTV receiver and then to your Pioneer? If that is the case, I would say no way. Bill
eth2
Sorry...I want to send FLAC files to the DAC and then to the receiver. (The receiver is a pioneer).
willland
Sorry...I want to send FLAC files to the DAC and then to the receiver. (The receiver is a pioneer). Okay, I was correct in my first thought. You said HDTV receiver and my thoughts were DISH or DirectTV receivers.
