Gargos
I have the original Klipsch 4.1 speaker set. Unfortunately, the 8-pin DIN connector that plugs from the main satellite into the subwoofer has broken and I'm currently unable to use them. I've taken the 8-pin connector apart and found that the individual wires are no longer soldered to the 8-pin connector. I'm going to re-solder them but I need to know the color coding so I can solder the right wires to the right individual pins on the connector. There are 8 colors for each of the 8 pins. The colors are red, black, green, orange, brown, blue, yellow, and white. I'm guessing from when I took it apart that pin 1=brown, 2=green, 3=red, 4=black, 5=orange, 6=yellow, 7= white, and 8=blue. I'm still not sure that's right though because they're acting funny. Can anybody help? Thanks.
