eburrell
Several Questions for the experts:I am going to use the following Klipsch Architectural speakers in the new home I'm building:LF: R-5650-WIIC: R-5502-WIIRF: R-5650-WIILS: R-5650-CIIRS: R-5650-CIIRLS: R-5650-CIIRRS: R-5650-CIII am also using a big (not Klipsch) sub.Does this community recommend purchasing the ME-650-W and ME-650-C speaker enclosures for the front L and R and for the four surround speakers? Is there a better option? Also, if I purchase the enclosures, do I need to also purchase the IK-650-W and IK-650-C install kits? If I don't buy these enclosures/kits, are there schematics available to build my own? Also, what is the recommended distance from the 50-65" TV (haven't decided which one yet) to place both the surrounds and rear surrounds in the ceiling?I realize I've asked a ton of questions. Thanks a lot for your advice.
Scrappydue
I don't know a lot about in walls but I can provide a few tips. Get the same three for your left center right channels if you can. Much more ideal for a seamless soundstage. The other would be regarding your distance to the tv. You can put surrounds back as far as you need them. What matter is they be beside or a bit behind your listening position and the surrounds backs further behind your listening postion.
eburrell
Thanks for the reply, Scrappy! I did some research, and the 5502 seems to be the speaker folks use in the reference series for their center. You would recommend keeping it all uniform up front? Scrappydue
Yeah. You could do three of those? Would look just fine.
eburrell
I'm definitely doing the 5650s in front. Might consider three of them. Does anyone else have an opinion? I'm very much on the fence about how important the enclosures and installation kits will be. Any thoughts on that?
