Corner placement does take advantage of boundary reinforcement and effectively increases sensitivity in the lowest octaves quite a bit. To change the impedance would require loading the woofer like a horn does, and I don't think that the speaker operating in 1/8 space i.e. corner placement is nearly enough to do that. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I thought too that sensitivity sounded more plausable, but for some reason it stuck in my head that the post was referring to impedance.
