SVS subs in small room

Ok, my room is roughely 1300-1400 cubic feet. I have been thinking about getting 2 SVS 25-31CS subs and a 600w fidek amp package for 675 shipped. Is that too much sub for such a room?

Also, is it a better idea to get one 25-31 and one 16-46 rather than two of the same? I figure this way I would get the lower octaves as well as high volumes at high octaves.

I can also get a single 25-31 and a mrantz ma700 thx 300w amp for 480 shipped and leave it at that, or i could get the 25-31 and a 600 watt amp for about 475 shipped then wait a bit and get a 16-46, although this total setup would end up running about 750 dollars shipped, 75 more than just getting the two 25-31s in one package.

Keep in mind that the subs will used more for music than HT. Any ideas? If getting a 16-46 and a 25-31 together just wouldnt sound good, i'll just on the 25-31 setup right away.

To sum it up, here are the choices

1 SVS 25-31, 1 SVS 16-46 and a fidek 600w amp - $775-800

2 SVS 25-31 and a fidek 600w amp - $675

1 SVS 25-31 and a marantz 300w thx amp - $480

1 SVS 25-31 and a fidek 600w amp - $450-475

1 SVS 25-31 and a partsexpress 250w amp - $400

Any input would be great.

Currently I plan on having 3 RF-3II's up front, 2 RS-3II's for the side rears and a RC-3II for the rear center. my room is only 1300-1400 cubic feet, and it will be used for 70% music and 30% HT. THANKS!

He gave me some decent recommendations. The question is, does it make sense to have a 25-31 and a 16-46 at 100-150 more than two 25-31s? Or will the different types of sub not sound right together. I kinda want two subs to eliminate the sense of one side producing the bass, and also to have a nice punch on the high end for music with a low extension for movies. keep in mind, the setup will be for 70 percent music.
