RPEYER
Trying to decide on a A/V receiver to go with my new system. I am considering the Denon AVR-3802 as my first choice but was wondering if it is worth it to go for the Denon AVR-4802. Room size is 23 X 12. Comments Please. Soundthought
Hi, The 3802 will do the job quite adequately. However,if you don't mind spending the extra cash, then by all means go for the 4802. You RF7s would really benefit from the extra available power the 4802 offers. ------------------ You should of heard just what I've seen. Daverph
I just upgraded from a 3300 to the 4802 and I feel it is a major difference. Soundstage is more open, midrange is warmer, and presentation seems more effortless than the 3300. I am also hearing nuances in some CD's that I have never heard before with any previous system I have had, including some seperates. Overall I am very pleased. RPEYER
Thanks for the input. Has anyone tried the Marantz 8200 Receiver. The specs don't look to bad but did not list anything about crossover freqs for subwoofer. Price is between the two Denon receivers I am looking at.
