JjR
Hi, I see a nice rebuild Pioneer M-90 in my area and was almost thinking about looking at it, I was wondering if any one had a M-90 amp / C90 preamp running the Herseys and how they would sound? TIA, JjR
H-D Rider
I have had 2 m-90 `s and 2 c-90 `s . Loved the sound but had so many board problems and repairs that it just was not worth it . look on the net about it . I would not own them and I liked mine but I have moved on . there are way better amps and pre`s out there. Tubes
Stump
The only Pioneer I've heard through Heresy's is an SX-828, it sounded great. Other than that, a Dynaco ST-70, Dynaco Mk-3 and Mcintosh MC-60 tube amps are flat out incredible with the Heresy's IMO. My mid 1980's Technics system sounds really nice through these speakers as well, but lacks the WOW factor of the tube amps.
