krusty46
I've never heard the Sony, but I'd never trade my 3802 (unless maybe for a 4802 or a 5803!) ------------------ Mains: KLF 10's Center: RC-3 (I know--doesn't match mains) Surrounds: Quintets Receiver: Denon 3802 DVD: Toshiba 3109 and Denon DVD-900 TV: Sony 36XBR400 MIT T2 and T3cables throughout
jdm56
I'm a big Sony ES fan, but I'd have a hard time recommending it because of it's lack of DPL-II or any other GOOD mode for playing back two-channel music through a multi-channel set-up (if that is important to you). BUT, the STR-DA5ES does have DPL-II and is available at a price comparable to the Denon 3802 on at least some on-line vendors. I'd check it out. And also the Marantz SR-8200 - very nice! ------------------ JDM
