tbadiuk Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 (Note: A control pod from a V2-400 set or a 4.1 set will work) Well, the sub of my V2-400's doesn't play. At first I though it was the sub itself but it turns out it's something with the control pod. Opened it up but can't see anything wrong. Could just be a broken wire in the control pod cable (sub volume permantly set to zero). In any case, I'd like to replace it, and would prefer not to pay $50 US + shipping which works out to close to $90 CND for a lousy control pod. I'm don't mind the original old style that makes a static noise when you turn the volume knob. As long as it's not the type that gives constant static/noise/buzz/humming even when music is not playing. Also, all I really need is the circuit board (with all pots and other bits mounted complete) and the 8-PIN DIN cable (mine's sort of broken). I can reuse my plastic casing and speaker input cables since they just plug into the circuit board.
