dougdrake Posted August 27, 2002 Share Posted August 27, 2002 There is no upgrade (officially) from Forte I to Forte II. It would require major changes to the motorboard and the rear panel, for one thing, since the mid-range horn is sized/shaped very differently and it goes from a 12" to a 15" passive on the rear. Also, some find the Forte I to sound better than the II -- all a matter of personal tastes. There have been a few posts on here about hot-rodding Forte's with sand-filled bases, dynamat/rope caulking of the horns, etc... If you do a search on the keywords, something should turn up.
