Armin
I only have a few inches of corner space left if I put up SS.5's(dipole surrounds) for the rear surrounds. How much space is needed for dipoles on the backwall. The sound only has a few inches to 'breathe' once it leaves the speaker. Maybe I should stick with the sb.5's (monopole bookshelf) like I would have as my front mains. I also am putting up SS.5 as my side surrounds. thanks,

Also, by "sb.5s", you mean SB-1? If so, I would recommend just getting another SC.5 and use that as the rear center and put the SS.5s as the surrounds, thus having the following: SB-1s (main), SC.5 (center), SS.5s (surrounds) SC.5 (rear center). I think that would give the best sound for the money and space. I am doing essentially the same thing, although with Reference 7s. ------------------ Steven Konopa Fredericksburg, VA Denon AVR3802 (Receiver) RF-7 (Fronts) RC-7 (Center) RC-7 (Rear) RS-7 (A Surrounds) Infinity RS2000.5 (B Surrounds - recycled) REL Storm III (Subwoofer 1) Yamaha YST-SW40 (Subwoofer 2 - Recycled) JVC XV-S65GD (DVD) Sharp DX-200 (CD - ancient) RCA DWD490RE (DirecTV/Ultimate TV receiver) Sharp 32 inch (TV)
