Ss.5's in The Corners

I only have a few inches of corner space left if I put up SS.5's(dipole surrounds) for the rear surrounds. How much space is needed for dipoles on the backwall. The sound only has a few inches to 'breathe' once it leaves the speaker.

Maybe I should stick with the sb.5's (monopole bookshelf) like I would have as my front mains. I also am putting up SS.5 as my side surrounds.

thanks,

Is this for a 6-channel surround (6.1)?. Also, by "sb.5s", you mean SB-1? If so, I would recommend just getting another SC.5 and use that as the rear center and put the SS.5s as the surrounds, thus having the following: SB-1s (main), SC.5 (center), SS.5s (surrounds) SC.5 (rear center). I think that would give the best sound for the money and space. I am doing essentially the same thing, although with Reference 7s.
