Blown highs on LaScala

I recently acquired a pair of Klipsch LaScala, which knocked my socks off. I used them to Play at A Function and they were AWSOME! After setting them back up at home I realized that one of the highs was blown. Whats a good price to replace the blown one? What steps can i take to protect the highs and prevent this from happening in the future? I have the K77M highs along with the AL-3 crossover. Is it possible to Bi-Amp the LaScala?

HELP!
