douet
I recently acquired a pair of Klipsch LaScala, which knocked my socks off. I used them to Play at A Function and they were AWSOME! After setting them back up at home I realized that one of the highs was blown. Whats a good price to replace the blown one? What steps can i take to protect the highs and prevent this from happening in the future? I have the K77M highs along with the AL-3 crossover. Is it possible to Bi-Amp the LaScala? Al Klappenberger
douet I am surprised you blew a tweeter using the AL-3 network. That one is supposed to have a tweeter protector in it! Anyhow, all you need is to put a new diaphragm in the tweeter. Yes, you can bi-amp or bi-wire by removing two red straps on the network. Al K.
