Chris A Posted January 4, 2017 Share Posted January 4, 2017 For a 40 Hz 1/4 wave cutoff, the path length is more like 85 inches... 1132(Ft/Sec)*12(In/Ft)/40 Hz = 339.4 in. wavelength One quarter wavelength at 40 Hz is then 339.4/4 = 84.9 inches Just checked the JAES paper - it's 1.402 m - 55 inches...
