cstuntz
My AVR is Yamaha RX-V677 receiver 90W continuous into 2 channels. I want to upgrade my Infinity Entra speakers to an RP250 system: 2- RP-250F front towers 1- RP250C or RP440C center 2- RP240S side surrounds 2- R14s rear surrounds 2- R110SW subwoofers The Entra speakers are rated at 125 watts, 90db sensitivity and i haven't had any issues. I want to make sure it will not harm the RP's. Will it handle the 440C center ok?
YK Thom
Shouldn't have any problems whatsoever.
cstuntz
Thanks. I realize that spec wise it's a little underpowered. Don't want to take any chances.
cstuntz
I also had considered 2- RP260F, 1-RP440C, 2-RP250S, 2-R110SW or !!2SW. Would the Yamaha RX-V677 power that safely? I have a 13 x 20 home theater room (1975cubic ft) and can't decide the best speaker size.
YK Thom
I should think so, checked out a couple reviews. Doesn't take a lot of juice to crank those speakers. You may wish to check out some of the Marantz avers as well. They seem to pair with Klipsch well.
