gheth54 Posted February 16, 2017 Share Posted February 16, 2017 I'm new to the forums, but have been a happy Klipsch owner for over 20 years. Last Saturday my B&K Ref 7250 amp had a very loud death, with a BANG followed by a squeal out of the speakers. The amp must have sent DC to one of my SF-1 rears, because it killed the K-1075-SV woofer. Not only does it smell very cooked, but I exchanged it into the working SF-1 and its dead there. Thankfully hooking the good woofer into the dead speaker's cabinet and it worked fine. So its looking like the crossover and the tweeter are working. To make a long story short, I need to find either a K-1075-SV woofer or maybe someone has an orphan SF-1 that needs a new home.
