HI,

I have Yamaha RN-602 Amp. The specs are

Minimum RMS power - 80 W + 80 W (8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.04% THD)

Maximum Power(8 ohms, 1 kHz, 10% THD) - 115 W +115 W

High Dynamic Power / Channel (8 / 6 / 4 / 2 ohms) - 105 / 125 / 150 / 178 W

I want to pair RP 280F with this amp for stereo music only.

Will this amp be able to drive the speakers for good performance??

Thanks

Thanks Bill.

If I may some more detailed opinions probably of somebody who has used these or similar.

Thanks

I have not used any of the Yamaha stereo receivers but do own the Yamaha A-S1000 integrated and it is a beast.  A different animal than the R-N602 no doubt.  With that said, Yamaha stereo receivers are built pretty robust, weighing in more than some other brands 7+ channel AVRs.

I do think there are a couple of forum members who are using the 602 or the previous model R-N500.  Maybe they will chime in.

Bill
