vasubandu Posted January 31, 2018 Share Posted January 31, 2018 I have a guy what wants to trade me a Genesis G928 subwoofer, and I am having a heck of a time researching them or getting any feel for whether I would want one. Anyone have thoughts? I told the guy who sold me my Outlaw 7700 and a complete 7.1 set of Axiom speakers and a bunch of other stuff for $750 that he have me a ridiculous deal and that I was going to get him a subwoofer for his remaining speakers. He is moving into a small cabin, and he has a pair of JBL Studio 230 speakers for space constraints. They have a frequency response of 52-24kHz. SO I think he really needs something for the lower end, maybe 8 inches. And then because of the way it is set up, it occurred to me that wireless might be a better option. Klipsch as a 10 inch wireless sub and there are others out there. I assume the Klipsch could just be turned down as needed. Anyone have thoughts about what would make a reasonable solution?
