Aleosha
Purchased Klipsch R-15PM active speakers a week ago from Amazon. There's a hiss coming out the right tweeter when the speaker is turned on. What I tried until now: Removed all inputs and wires to left speaker, only connected to power. Still hissing Put volume on minimum/maximum. Hissing doesn't change Connected to APC UPS Connected speaker to an outlet in another room, away from any electronics. Switched all input channels. Hissing doesn't change Completely turning off my router Exactly same hiss comes also from left tweeter, but since it's not standalone, I test the right one. Topics I checked until now: Any suggestions before I return them back, dear community?
Eric Wang
New Members 0 1 post Report post Posted just now I had static noise from BT input only. no issue from RCA input. It was not issue on my phone because I tested with two other phones. It was not AC ground issue because I moved speakers to other places. waiting for support to comment but this is the 2nd unit already.... driving me crazy

If exchanged, wondering if the new one makes the sound too
