phisherman Posted October 11, 2002 Share Posted October 11, 2002 A friend of mine is giving me the opportunity to purchase a pair of Klipsch KG 4.2 floor speakers. My 2 questions are - 1. What is a fair price? (they are in great condition) 2. Being a 2 channel speaker, can this pair still be used in a 6.1+ surround system and if so, would they still sound good? I'm audio illeterate as you can see and would like to integrate these speakers into that kind of system. Any input anyone could give me is most appreciated. jazman Posted October 12, 2002 Share Posted October 12, 2002 Phisherman, The KG4.2 will do fine in a surround system. I have used 2 pairs in a previous HT setup. As far as a fair price, it all depends on what you and he think they are worth, with "around" $300 at the bottom end in great condition. Klipsch out.
